wow quite the history here Mary, did you climb up there!?? Nice shot from below and kind of eerie now that I read the history! Nice sharp focus with great framing and d.o.f.! Nice shooting!

Thanks again Mary, we parked up the top and walked down the steps which go round the side of the kiln, then of course had to walk back up as it started raining :)

the dark effects of the edges are really a great way to frame the photo. i like the angles of the building and the outlining of the red bricks.

Very cool shot! Love your perspective. Great colors. The only thing I'd do different is maye add some shadows back into the trees and greenery! LOVE IT!

This is a stunning picture the way you tool it. I like the way you are looking at it. I would hate to have to climb them.I like the way you left the tree on the right. I like the way you have the vignette. That helps to put the light on your picture. An excellent picture.

Good color, clarity, storyline is amazing and camera angle is flawless, (just being honest) you've gone a bit to far with the spotlight effect. ( I've done this before too). Try converting to black and white instead of the spotlight and the story telling ability will stand out. good job..

Thanks very much, possibly agree about the spotlight unfortunatley it was a very white sky. Tried b&w but wasn't keen. :) Mary

like the perspective a lot
good composition with the stairs leading up to the kiln
foliage is nice balance to all that limestone
the picture is out of focus and that makes it lose a lot of impact for me
the top feels a little tight

This is a great picture of a building, like the way that you caught the stairs going up to the building it adds to the picture. Like the different colors that were caught. Thanks for sharing

Very good job with the vignette effect to emphasis your POV. The stairs sue adds to lead the eye up the stirs to your main subject.
