A nice looking one. How big is this one. It sure has large size scales. It sure does not look like it is as fast as the one we have here in Arizona. Very nice presentation!

Thanks for review, this one would have been around 45cm (18 inch) so a reasonably mature lizard.

Thank you, appreciate your positive feedback, would query the low star rating as you like the photo doesn't seem to match the comments. :) Mary

Very interesting reptile, she has so tiny legs compared to her rather bulky barrel shaped body. Good artist's notes.
Good natural colors with good focus. I like the angle of this shot

Not sure if I agree with painting numbers of any creature but the lizards you seem to find are just wonderful Mary! He is a doll and the pose looks like he knew you were right there taking his pic! He doesn't seem to terribly bothered by you and is rather posing nicely! Great focus and a nice shot of the eye as he peers over at you! Nicely framed with a natural looking scenery! Cute!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. The racing event did cause an upset as it is illegal to collect these guys from the wild so didn't look good for the member of parliament. Cheers Mary

I like the shot you've attained of this guy up against he bush with nice shadows and sun filtering thru. He has some interesting markings and texture to his skin.

This is neat the way you caught him like this. Looks like he was just waiting for you to take his picture. An excellent picture.

There are few lizards in the UK and if one is seen its a pretty big find. The Naples region, in Italy, was the first place we came across lizards as a common reptile. Your photo here is very well composed with the lizard framed diagonally in a kind of I want to hide away pose. Your settings are excellent resulting in a very enjoyable photo. Well done!

Thanks so much for your feedback, the speed these guys travel don't expect it to hit the circuit too soon :) Mary
