This is wonderful the way you took this one. I like the write up to go with this one.. The way you have the windmill up close is great. An excellent picture.

Nice color and sharp focus. Seems to have gotten a little dark in turn losing a great bit of detail. Great story telling within these frames. Wish the water tank was out of the picture and It would really bring one back in time. The tree adds nice depth. But shot in whole could use a little work.

Reminds me of the one on my grandparents farm in Alberta when I was growing up! You caught it quite nicely, The clouds and tree nicely balance the overall composition!

Windmills are so beautiful and you captured a wonderful shot of this windmill Mary! Focus is good and the scene with the tree and not sure what it is just adds to the scene! D.o.f. is great and the natural colors make the image lovely!

Excellent POV with the windmill. I first was going to mention about the pipe then I realized it is tasking the water to the tank. Is the water for the livestock or domestic use? Very good framing of the windmill. It is hard to find a working one here in the USA.

Thanks very much, the water would only be used for livestock as it tends to be very hard and higher salt levels than we humans would tolerate :) Mary

Good composition with the windmill between the tree and the tank, although it looks a little dark to me. Sky is unusual with the grey clouds and light blue below.

good one. It would been a better if you not covered that tank.
If you tried to take the pic with a lower shutter speed, share that also. Good work
