sorry it has taken me so long to answer yur review on this piece but just like everyne on this time of the year busy busy busy, ha! realy I've done nothing I've just been working on another painting,
I realy do appreicate your reviews and the idea of an easter card is a fantastic idea and since i design cards for my family and friends I have to say, thank you for the idea LOl I'll add your name to it let them all wonder why I added and fronm donkeyoatey on the card LOL talk about messing with them , yeap and that';s exactly what I do also aren't you glad your not related to me LOL
hope your thanksgivng was a good one, it no doubt wasn't for the turkey lOL

i think you left out hunger on that message. why would the lion attack the lamb..food..i am releigious but god gave us brain to reason and to survive by nutrition. animals general dont kill for the fun of it. only for survival instinct that god gave them. only man does it for sport. but my opinion is dime a dozen. as far as the artwork..gee makes me wanna throw away my ink and go computers because you digital art folks can create so many fantastic effect thats traditional artist cant do. this is superbly done and a well deserve 5 stars. great job!

i can't thank you ennough for your review and wonderful words. The scripture comes fom revelations where it says, " and the Lion wll lay down with the Lamb" I beleive it was symbolic in the saying because your correct, that no animal kills for sport only food and I have seen a tiger and dog play together. a person in our area had a few wild life animals that he kept as pets but he was finally forced to give them up due to presure by the neighbors aound him, his tiger got out a few times so I can see why they were just a bit nervous LOL.
and it is amazing what one can do with graphics on the computer, I myself can mainly only stick draw, I do a very rough sketch and I do mean rough and then by the use of graphics and knowing what brush to use its amazing what anyone can paint, Don;t ever throw away yur ink, its artist like you that have the real talent, computers just make it easy for those of us who want the talent that yuo have been given by God but don't have so we cheat with computers LOL

i try not to be to open but only honest. i recognize the availablity this program does offer. i tell this to every one..we are all some kind of artist. when you make a stick man it can done in a artistic way. one of the photographers on here accidently reserved an entry in one of my sponsered contest (black and white tradition art contest) and he sends me an apology for entering and said he wont be participating because the only thing he can draw is stick men.(it could be done by pencil, or charcol, pen ink, etc) I replied back to him "hey look i really do beleive that any on can expresss themselves on paper or some form of visualization, if you can only draw stickmen then do them at say a frat party at a swimming pool with women...use your imagination you will amaze yourself...i have been watchin the excellent affect that computer and their programs out there just fascinates me one my daughters is not only a talented artist herself but do a japamation style on the puter amazes me.

Great job on 95% of the painting. Colors an detail are great. Nice depth added by the small lamb up front. Initial impact is strong, but "I feel" you could have done better on the left side of lions face.. ( just my opinion and very hard to rate due to difficulty of the piece.) Nice job.

I have to agree with you completly on that left eye, I couldn't get that right no matter how hard I tried, the more i worked on it the worse it got, so I gave up and posted iot, however even now i am still tring to get iot right and yu ought to see th emess I have now,,or maye you shouldn't LOL

This is a nice concept, at least up to the point that the lion gets hungry. At any rate, it is interesting. The lion looks noble; the lamb looks cute. your picture has good color harmony and wonderful composition.
