The sepia tone does set this photo off, your composition is also very good. The background could have been a little darker, which would have enhanced the equipment, but still an imaginative photo.

Very nice composition and good focus on the equipment. The trees frame the main subjects well also. I understand the sepia tone for effect but it's a bit strong and too orange. It's overwhelming and a distraction. Perhaps if you experiment with the tint and temperature it could be corrected.
