The shadowing in this photo is great and the color magnificent. This photograph fits perfectly with my poem. I have written a Haiku with the main subject about the water lily. I needed to have a photo with a water lily on a lily pad and of course this photo is also beautiful.

This is really pretty! I like the colors very well! I have some that are white but have never seen this color! The water really looks good too!

Thank you very much. Yes I was surprised by the color myself. I think this is is a hybrid, maybe a Lotus, but couldn't find out anything about. The photo was taken in the Botanical Garden of San Antonio, Texas. The had white, pink and these red ones in the pond; but no description could be found when we was there. Sorry for replying late.
