What an excellent landscaping picture! The shading is perfect. The leaves so detail it adds life to the picture. I love the detail that you have paid attention to the background. Overall and excellent job and I am so honored that you have choose this contest.     correct...i like to inspire creativity and like yours i appreciate seeing the talent that comes out of it. i have a few more contest if your interested; music-a universal language, civil rights, fall is football. i would love to see your work there too if you get the time. good luck on the contest!

    I would love to enter more, I have just returned to work today after a 3 week break so if I get the time I will try to enter the others, however being from Australia I am not sure about the civil rights and fall is football themes, music a universal language on the other hand works best for me...thanks again :-)

On these pencil sketches , I always look for a light source and consistency in the rendering of light and shadow. The tree shows some discrepancies though

The tree is just gorgeous. It makes me feel nostalgic. Maybe because it looks so old and stately, like it's seen a lot happen in it's life. Great technique and subject matter.

Oh wow, pretty! I really enjoy the composition in this drawing, as the tree anchors the eye as it first enters the scene and then follows the fence in to explore the countryside more. Although I know very little about it, I think your technique was very good, as the shadows look smooth and accurate in this frame. If I could suggest improvement anywhere, it would be in the sky, where I think there could be a little more texture and shading to give the scene more life and character. (A few clouds never hurt, right?) Well done, I enjoyed this!
