LOVE IT ! I understand waiting for these shots. I spent ALL last summer trying to get them...boy they are fast ! What program did you use for editing. I would like to try the black bg on one of my shots and see if it works. This is a beautiful shot, thanx for sharing it

Thank you so very much! I use photoshop. The background came from shooting late in the afternoon. There are pine trees in the background so when the flash was used it went dark and with contrast and brightness adjustments were made it all went black!

The master at work again.
Have to be brutal now if I can.
Love the head and the lovely detail with the color.
The wings are a little disappointing and the black background is not for me.
But still a great capture.
