Nice photo. I like the silhouette of the boy. It would have been nice if all of the arches were dark with only the sunlight behind, but it is very cool the way it is too.

This is a great shot, The exposure is well done although i think you could have gone to a quicker speed and a higher F-stop to incorperate some of that background. (that would make this a 6star shot.)

I love the silhouette of the wee boy you captured riding out of the darkness of the arches into the sunlight! The mood is wonderful and the focus is sharp to show the arches and the boy at their best! Or is he riding in, I thing riding in!l.o.l. Very unique and interesting shooting Mary!

I always like to look at nice lines like this one and the boy sure is a nice bonus. I may have played with the idea to clone out the tree so only the lines and boys were in the capture.

Thanks Bob, appreciate feedback once again - my daughter has put photoshop on computer so may have to get up to speed on how to do cloning and other things, tend to stay with the easier Picasa that doesn't have too many options. :) Mary

I think I know exactly what you were trying to do here,
I have taken a few under the bridge looking back to Jolly's boat house, I think you have done quite well here, I like the shadows and the silhouette is good,
bright sunlight gives it a bit of over exposure at the back but good work, well done.

It has a certain evocative feel about it, but there's a lot of detail lost in the shadows, and the background is over exposed. I do like the silhouetted figure of the boy on his bike.
