This is an excellent close up of the yellowtail snapper. I like the angle you used for this with the light catching on his back and the softened blue background making a perfect frame for him. Lighting and focus very good showing great detail. Very nice composition.
good color and light in this
also good DOF
like the perspective of being above him..we can appreciate his beaded looking skin and colors
does he have only one fin?
too bad no tail
wow what a treat to have this fine fish following you around. I assume photographing fish in the wild must be quite hard to do so well done for catching this gem
Colors and details are excellent. Lighting and DoF are very good. Good initial impact and center of interest. I would have tried to get the tail in this shot, since it is called the Yellowtail snapper. Thanks for sharing, Southernbelle
Thanks again - Would have liked that too, but unfortunately he didn't understand my request to stand back a bit LOL he was just too curious and therefore to close, almost directly under me.

You're welcome, they are like kids, lol don't listen. Southernbelle
My theory about this fish is that he wanted to snap at you! Looking at this shot made me wonder where is his other fin? Like this photo first of all because of the colours displayed and secondly the great clear detail that you have managed to display. Very good work, well done!
