A fantastic picture of the Dales with sheep grazing, trees in the valley & the hill in the distance I imagine has heather & bracken growing in the shallow soil. The blue sky & fluffy white clouds creeping over the summits blown by the winds. Created with an artist's eye for composition, very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice & blending of your colours to show the beauty of "God's Own County" & my birth place.

I was born in Whitby, & spent the first couple of months in Glaisdale, my Pa was born in Acomb.

I finding this so appealing and inviting. I want to get inside your painting and walk those hills and breathe the mountain air. The soft hues you have varied among the mountains give dimension and depth to your painting. The sky with fluffy clouds is beautiful. The brilliant green on the front hill is alive. Love it

This is simply beautiful in color and moving, rolling hills. The pastel shades of the mountains and hills are marvelous. I love the darker blue in the sky to add some contrast. A beautiful work of art
