Thank you very much. I truly appreciate your kind review and your high rating. I fooled you, didn't I? That is not a mixed media; but an plain unedited photo. It was taken at the Buckhorn Museum, San Antonio, Texas. They had an exhibit of old carnival items including three mirrors from a mirror maze. Just had to find the right angle for the shot.

You should of thrown in some mixed media and entered this one into the "Mixed Media - Self portrait Contest".

Creative, lots of great lines, and you sure do have one weird body with that giraffe like neck.

Creative, good balance and a nice change of pace piece.

Thank you very much. I have something else for the mixed media, but had trouble to come up with something for the photo contest. It is quite a challenge to liver an self portrait for an blind photocontest were one has to be incognito.

If your recognized, not a big deal.

Not? It is a blind contest. Truth I am braking rules all the time; I prefer to obey them in competitions. I think it would be unfair otherwise against the other competitors who obey them. Wouldn't it.

Cool effect on this.
Your body has truly been distorted in the reflection.
Lighting is well handled.
Colors are good.
Focus and clarity are fine.

I give you 5 12 stars for this because it is completely out of the box.

I would never have thought to try this let alone use it in a self portrait contest.

It is different and creative. I like it.

And now it makes me wonder what all the other mirrors would look like. =)

Thank you very much for your kind review and the surprise of such a high rating. I am verry happy you like it. There were just a couple of mirrors on display. The second one was almost alike, but in worse light. The photo was taken at the Buckhorn Museum, San Antonio, Texas in a section were carnival items are on display.

Funny photo. Works. Good to see something quite different aswell. I'm not one for straight & narrow portraits so this works well for me.

Good focus & exposing is fine. The contours of the mirror have worked well to follow the line of your glasses. & camera.

Well done & best of luck

this is fun
I've never seen a photo of one of these distorting mirrors before
like the effect it gives
wish there was more light in it
think would make the impact a little stronger

Thank you very much for your review and your input. The photo was taken in the Buckhorn Museum, Texas were artificial light and tripod are not an option.

An interesting take on a self portrait. I like the way you have been distorted. TYhose mirrors can do terrible things but you have come out not too bad.Good luck in the comp

Thank you verry much for your kind review. Thanks for the compliment. I would have it posted with a terrible look also. I don't care abut looks; how long it's funny and gives the viewer a smile.

This is a very cute photo. Love the big long head and short legs! I like the detailed tile work compared to the unfocused upper bg.
I might crop out the darker sides--just and idea.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your review and your suggestion. I have tried this crop; but it dos not work for me. To me the composition looses interest and the color seems to be out of level since I loose the blue glass with its reflection. The color is in relation with the blue shirt.

Well this got a smile out of me when I saw it. Haven't been in front of one of these fun mirrors in a long time--forgot how neat they were. Like the originality of your photo and the humor. Good composition, color, focus and lighting. Nice change. Fun to view this one.

Very unique and creative. The focus is good, lighting is good, no glar from the camera and great technique. You could come up with many good stories about this one.
