Cyber 6 all out! This is beautiful and wonderful introduction being told, so true for many! Love the theme and the anticipation of her waiting to greet the person coming home soon. Great colors and such detail in all you do with wonderful lighting and shading! Really very nice and glad you shared this one for us! Excellent job!

I love this Mark. Really touching notes too - I'm made to think about those serving in the armed forces in particular. Wonderful detail(even down to the wedding band) and great use of colour to express the joy of the season.

It is 80 degrees F. outside on our balcony and the westerly setting sun has blasted it's way into our apartment and I'm finding it difficult to think that Xmas is around the corner. Your image took me by surprise!
BUT the aspect of waiting for a loved one immediately brought my thoughts to the men and women overseas fighting for our freedom and I was enveloped by a saddness.
Mark, your image is solid as a rock and because of that it hits us smack between the eyes no matter where we live....unless it's Jerusalem and you are Jewish!...or in India praying to cows.
Sigh.
This is perfect, and I wish I had a 7 to give for it would get it. Your colours are staggering. We notice her wedding band immediately.
I think I'm getting chocked up.
You get my vote for this hits me on many many levels.

sometime 1 a day or 2 but very few take more than that depends on the detail..thats the most time consuming thing..wink. thanks for the great review

Gee, I wonder who drew this (winking wildly)? She has a beautifully wistful and gentle expression as if she's waiting anxiously for a special someone to turn up and isn't quite sure he'll make it. Love the window filled with baubled Xmas tree.
