Thanks for the nice comments and sentiments. My son got home from Iraq today! Although we're on opposite coasts, I'm really excited that he made it back home to his family for Christmas. The detail in this, especially the shading, is very good except for the highlights on the jeans. That doesn't look too accurate. The arms and the detail in the face are very good.

Christmas means the same thing to me! I am this girl! I am waiting for my husband to see if he will make it home for the holidays. Artwork means so much more when you know the story behind it. I like how you see the tree through the window and the drapes are shaped in a triangle so you can imagine how big the tree is. I love the vibrant colors also. Happy Holidays!!
