This is an interesting shot. I haven't tried this myself but it does seem like a difficult experiment, long exposure and a mirror to boot. I think it would have been a really good shot if you had't gotten the camera in the photo. You still might be able to crop it out. Otherwise it really would have looked like you captured a ghost.

Thank you very much for the lovely review and comments. Some like the camera to be there, and some don't. For myself, I am not sure. I actually tried to take the photo without involving the camera, but then I got the reflection of some other mess.

Annie this is a spectacular photo and I think your hard work really paid off.
First the lighting is so warm feeling and a nice choice as I could not see this any other way
And there are so many elements in this photo yet your drawn to the reflections in the center

This is a wonderful picutre. I love everything about it. Everything is great in this picture as the eye goes from the camera to the shelving on left. I think the shelving on left should be either a little lower or a touch lighter. But what a wonderful project and Picture, nicely done. I love it.

But I also like doubled images in a photo. I think it's cool. It has a certain appeal to it.
The doubled images like other worldly... while the camera likes real.
No matter how you look at it, it is creatively clever.

Excellent use of your available light with a slower shutter speed, very creative. Enjoy the transparency that juxpositions softness to the hard elements, camera. Gives kind of ere feeling, ghost like giving life to camera. Depth is great and sharp enough for this composition. Beautifully executed and thanks for sharing.

This is such a great shot. It's very haunting in a sense. And I agree that the hardest thing is trying to get the subject to stay still when doing these types of shots. Great work!! My only suggestion would be try to fit the frame so that the camera is not in the shot.
