This seems to have worked pretty well for your time spent. I like the tones that you used, and the way you lit up the "model" it gives a nice warm feeling to the photo. My husband used to do a lot of this kind of work and I love effect one can get. He also visited your area a few years ago and loved it.

Creative, like the multiple exposure created in camera, the visibility of the camera adds interest to the image. Good composition and like the ruddy light balance in this one.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. The only model I had available was myself. LOL

This is a captivating piece of work- partly because of the beauty of your own image, and partly of the treatment with the long exposure. The setting doesn't bother me- we see right through that to your image and it lends are homey and pacific atmosphere of normalcy, quite in contrast but not taking anything away from the apparition of your portrait. I know that others have liked it that you included the camera, but my humble opinion is that, if it were not there, there would be complete other interpretation to this photograph that I think would be very interesting. With it there, we know for sure it was a photographic effect that you achieved with the two superimposed images of yourself. Without the camera, we would be left to try to figure out how this occurred or the intended meaning of it, and I always think a bit left to the imagination is wonderful. Still, an enchanting photograph- good luck in the contest.

Thank you very much for the lovely review and comments. I just have to add that this is just one image. The photo was taken with me sitting in front of a mirror.

Yes, I understood that it was just one shot- but not being a photographer or understanding exactly how all of that works, what the viewer sees is actually two images sort of superimposed, due to the mirror, no doubt. But since the mirror cannot be seen, it doesn't account for why we see two of you in different directions. I just try to review a work of which I know nothing about from the perspective of someone who, like me, just sees it but doesn't have a clue as to how it was achieved, and doesn't really care, if they like what they see. This is a beautiful work which I think might have many interpretations for the viewer, who will not have your explanation available. I had the advantage of reading your reviews!

for the first time doing this, this is a job well done. The effects you received for the long exposure is amazing. Good lighting, contrast, color. Nice border that you applied to the photo as well. Good luck with the contest.

This is very different and you did a grand job with the photo and as the model. I can tell winter is here because, people can't get outside and look for things to photograph inside the home. This is really nice, can't wait to see more.

I never heard of such shenanigans to get a pix. Gotta hand it to you though, the effects were worth it. Love the warm colors and you even got to show off your camera!
