The overall piece is fine, but i find the center of the flower to bright for my tastes and distracting.

Thank you for your kind review and your input. I tried to put an glow to the flower because they seem to reflect light, but I will luck into the center issue.

An incredible flower, I love how the cactus flowers are so big and beautiful and some only last for a matter of hours. This is a great closeup of a partially opened flower. Very nice painting looks like a photograph. Great use of light and detail.

Thank you very much. You are right it blooms only for a few hours but older plants could have dozens of flowers. It opens at night and blooms usually till late morning or noon the next day.

Beautiful, I love the colors in this, the sky is so light and airy, I love the contrast in the flower, the green that looks so bold and beautiful and the white of the flower that looks so soft and subtle.

Lovely shot against the sky and clouds. The detail is great and you caught the centre with enough light to make it shine. The red tips on the leaves are showcased well. I would have lightened the stem just a bit. Good work. B.
