What a great shot of a woodpecker. I was going to say that your photo appeared to be quite grainy, when I saw that you have added poster edges. This of course explains everything. Still wonder if it had been an idea to use an airbrush on the light green background. Just a thought.
Your focus is pin sharp with lovely details in the feathers. As usual the eye is clear and bright, and I like how the bird is holding a seed in its beak. All the colors are nice and natural, and how nice of God to add a bit of red on the woodpecker's head. It stands out so nicely against the black, white and grays in the bird. Your use of light is just excellent.
The placement of the bird within the frame is perfect together with the neat cropping. This is all together an excellent shot of this lovely bird, and you image is well balanced in all respects.

Another great capture Willie. Nicely composed picture with good framing and centre of interest. I'm so sure about the background effect though, it seems a bit pixelated to me and is distracting my eye a bit from that lovely woodpecker.
