Wonderfully clear and detailed shot of your Downey. What a great capture with a sunflower seed in his mouth. I can see a reflection I think is of you in his eye. I like the way you can see his claws spread on the trunk of the tree. The positioning of the whole, down and to the right gives more of a sense of how the bird really looks when he is on a tree trunk Beautiful shot.

Great capture and very nicely framed. I like the way the bird crosses diagonally into the framed. You can imagine his powerful beak drilling into a tree trunk as opposed to the feeder. Great colour and focus. Good DOF too. Nice.

Yet another finely detailed bird portrait Wille. I love the look in his eye,and the seed indicates he is doing something. Personally I don't like the use of filters on nature shots,but I am set in my ways. Mitch

Lucky for him. This is a awesome close up of this little guy. The small red crown tells its a male. The eye profile looks like he posed for you. The fungus in the tree and the feet give such perspective. NICE

Beautiful close up of the woodpecker - you always catch them in the best poses and with their food in their beaks! I like the glint you can see in his eye. Also like the poster edge - I think it adds even more definition to your already good focus.
