This image is a real beauty. Wonderful composition and DOF. Good focus and exposure. The background color contrasts very well with the bird. Thanks for sharing.

Good still. The subject is placed perfectly in the center. There is a perfect balance between light and shadow. I appreciated greatly the high lights on the beak head region and back and tail. The blurring of the back ground is suggestive it only pushed out the subject of the picture.

Nice shot, never seen one of these birds before. Excellent focus and lighting, good composition. Blurred background makes the bird stand out nicely

I really like the angle of the bird in this image. The image is well composed and fills the frame well. The eye is well in focus and sharp. The colors and lighting are good. Image has good initial impact.

These are the nosiest birds. Its sound is bigger than its body. Our mocking birds used to harass the dogs mercilessly. You have a beautifully detailed photograph here.

Great bird shot as usual willie. I like the simplicity of this one. Yours usually are that way, with a lovely soft background and nicely complementing colours. In this I like that branch arching in and out of the frame. Focus is very sharp, technically excellent.

Wow, a mockingbird! I've never heard one, but it is the namesake for my favourite novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. Here the wonderful hues of grey are evident in the feathers of the bird and the detail of the wing feathers provides a lot of contrast. thanks for sharing Cyn

Great Focus... good getting the "Eye" in detail... The depth of field used works very much to advantage. Great Impact.... Makes me want to continue looking... sorta just draws me in....

Very nice well-focused shot of the mocking bird. The blurred background make the birds details more pronounced. Excellent.

Very beautiful and crisp shot of this mocking bird! His, or her face is so clear, as are the feet! I love the blurred out background which really makes the bird stand out. I have them in my yard as well, looks like I need to get the 70-300mm lens as well to shoot them. I took many photos of my bluebirds last spring but none as crisp as this. I only have up to 200mm. Excellent work!
