Really nice shot! Beautifully sharp, and showing good eye contact. The bokeh is lovely, and really makes this bird stand out. I know others have said they like the double branch, but for me the vertical branch is distracting and keeps making my eyes leave the bird. By the way, it's a mourning dove, not morning dove--that's why they're named that, because of the mournful call, as you mentioned. Nice shot!

Lovely shot. Nice subtle colours and strong clarity and detail bring the bird to life. You can almost feel the softness of the feathers. Can also sense its anticipation in getting to the feeder!
