How stunning is this and a cyber 6 for you Willie! You sure have a great talent for capturing birds. The details are remarkable and the wee seed in the beak is a great touch! Stunning eye!! The focus cannot be sharper and feel I can reach out and touch this amazing woodpecker! Impressive shooting!

it's definitely not a redheaded woodpecker. Those I know. I've never seen one of these but I want to. Very good capture. EYE, feathers and fuzz around beak are all in perfect focus. Great work as usual.

A really striking image with eye immediately drawn to the seed in its mouth. Great effect from cropping. Colour and clarity, and detail in beak, feathers and eye is superb. Never seen this type of woodpecker so thank you for sharing.
