I love shooting birds, too, so I really appreciate a good bird photo. This is nice and sharp, with excellent bokeh. It's always nice to get a nature shot when the subject is "doing" something, and this one having a seed in its beak gives the shot lots of interest. The only nitpick I have is that the crop may be a tiny bit too tight, especially on the right, but that's just my own opinion. It's a great shot!

Willie you never secede to amaze me with you photographs. I very much like this shot. I am not about to go into all the technical aspects of how well the photograph was taken because it would be senseless. All I am going to say is amazingly beautiful! Highly enjoyable!

An exquisite beautiful capture of this beautiful Woodpecker Willie. I can almost feel his feathers. An image that deserves a six which I am, at this point out of. Still, for such an image I have every confidence you will receive many from those who have been wise enough to save some. Bren

Excellent sharpness, great color contrast between the red head and the green background, and I like the seed in the beak.
There's a bit of something extraneous in the lower right corner that you could clone out.
So, I think i see a house reflected in his eye, is that right?
