Wow; Willie, this photo pops with color. Great shot of the hummingbird. I think your shutter speed in this one is perfect. The wings of the bird are blurred just right to show the movement of them. To capture the wings of a hummingbird this way is very difficult. The way the head is tipped enhances the impact of the shot. I think the out of focus flowers increases the depth of field greatly. Wonderful detail to be enjoyed here.

You have to have an uncanny ability to anticipate where they are going to go, because no autofocus I know of is fast enough to follow these birds around. Super work, once again.

Good job Willie, I love humming bird pictures; I have taken some myself. I love it when you can capture them on a flower not just buzzing around a feeder. It is hard to do. They will not sit long for a shot. Keep it up!
