Very pretty, detail here is great. colors are absolutely beautiful, nice vivid flowers, lighting is good, this is a great shot, the hummingbird stands out and I love the blur of its little wings...gorgeous picture!

Excellent shot Willie! I love shooting and seeing good picture taken of such hard subject as the beautiful Humming birds. This is a very well done image with good composition lighting and sharp details. Great visual impact and I love the dof providing great background blurr. Very good technical excellence and technique. nice. The bird is sharp (not easy with hb but I noted your shutter spd) and positioned in a sweet spot in the frame. While there is no formal pattern to the flowers, they are pleasingly distributed and the mix of in and out of focus flowers works well here.
I think you might clone out the half flower on the right edge, replace with stalk. With all the whole or nearly whole flowers, it appears a bit out of place.

Following a hummer working "all over" can be very taxing and not to mention nearly impossible. Then to make a capture like this is a major coup. The flowers make this work as much as the bird, but with the two together you have created a winner.

Amazing - over and over I read about those moments when we as photographers are blessed with a beautiful shot. It is great to see that those blessed moments are taken and the photos that are the result.
As fast as these little guys hum by, I continue to be impressed by photos of them. Great shot, with super color and clarity, allowing us to see her tiny eyes and feet. Nice softness keeps the attention on her.
