It amazes me what Nature has to offer. This is a wonderful image of this geyser. I like how you captured all the different colors with so much to see. Nice work.

It sure is an outstanding setting and photo. That smell sure is something I remember when I have seen this type of land formation. Thanks for the very good information!

Thanks Bob, appreciate your comments as always. Yes the smell tends to be a bit like cigarettes and get into everything, hair - skin - clothes....

Thanks so much, beautiful place, you could only access by Ferry across the river and they have kept it as natural as possible with only the boardwalks showing man's presence.

Thanks for the feedback, no it is in New Zealand North Island. We were there for 18 days for our daughters wedding and took the opportunity to tour around.

This is wonderful the way you took this. I like all the beautiful colors that you see in this. I like the way you see so far. I like the way you see where the geyser comes up. An excellent picture.

I have been to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and remember seeing scenes like this one. I think this picture is so interesting having a forground with yellows and orange tinges and a colder backdrop of blue white and green. The warm set against the cold. Is this one of those geysers that erupts on schedule and did you get a shot of it?

Thanks so much for positive comments. No this one was a natural geyser and unfortunately nature decided not to be very compliant, got a couple of shots of small geysers and one at another park which will post later.
