Bjornik, this is a wonderful shot! The black of the road contrasts nicely with the snow. The low hanging clouds in the trees really add to the over all effect . Good job!!

Oh, my... this one does make me homesick. I love snow covered trees.
I think it would have been a better shot if the road hadn't been there but you can't exactly pick it up and move it out of the way. This is one of those shots that I felt the center trees were a little too dead center. I would have liked to have seen them offset a little bit more.

Norway's just beautiful. I like the smoky, storm brewed look of the sky behind the tree tops and the interlaced etching of their branches covered with hintings of snow on their boughs. The snow blanketed ground is magical, adding a quietness to the piece.
I think it's the road's black-iced concreteness that draws a bit from the natural tones of this. But, my eye just returns to the uppermost part of the picture and truly indulges in its scenery.

I have personally always liked nature scenes, especially winter scenes. I like the angle used in this picture. It makes it look more interesting rather than just using a straight shot. Beautiful.

This is a gorgeous shot. I like the cold look, the snow on the branches of the trees. I'm not sure that I care for the road much, though it does give a sense of scale.
