This is such a pretty bird with the red on its chest and the rest of the feathers in white and black. A striking combination. The green background is just perfect and make the bird really stand out.
Your focus is spot on and very sharp showing lovely details even in the black feathers. The exposure is very good, and not a trace of over exposure in the whites.
The placement of the bird within the frame is nice together with the tight cropping. This is an excellent photo of this pretty bird, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a fine capture. Your focus is pin sharp and it brings out many great details. You have even captured the texture of the skin around the eye. Beautiful crisp colors show well against the green. A very nicely composed piece.

Well done. Indeed capturing animals usually presents many difficulties given their resistance to posing. The photo is in clear focus and the green background supports the colors in the bird. The lighter green around the subject helps it into greater prominence. You have not mentioned it but one would consider that the color may have been adjusted in that area.

we can see all the details of his feather so well.
enjoy his colors, and the green color you used as backround.
It looks as if there is a slight green glow around him.
nice fill of the frame..head just a little tight, but okay.
good exposure.
