He looks very alert. I love the feathers on top of his head. I know there must be a name for it but can't think of it. The detail is so specific. The muted green background really helps the bird pop. Gorgeous.

This is a wonderful photo. The cardinal just seems so alive. The sharp image really defines this bird, and the small reflection in Red's eye completes the portrait. First rate and bravo!

Nice shot of this red cardinal,well focused with good lighting,composition is great by showing off the fine details of the cardinal and beautiful colors,the soft green background help bring out the red tones of the bird which is very nice,great photography!
