Fantastic photograph Willie. Wonderful focus and detail in the shot. Nicely framed against the green blurred background. You captured him in beautiful light. It is nice they come and start eating before you even go in the house.

Lovely bright shot of bright red feathers against green, with a shiny obsidian bead of an eye in perfect focus to balance the beak and crest. A cheerful portrait that has brightened my day!

Another reposting. Have run out of new ones ? LOL Of course an excellent shot of a red cardinal which I probably even have reviewed before. The bird is standing out so well against the silky green background.

Everything is working here Willie, and it is not a thing that needs to be changed here. Outstanding work indeed.

Thank you so very much! Yes I have several I wanted to promote. I enter so many contest with no way to promote all of them. I am proud of most of them and don't want to not use them. I shoot something every day so yes I have plenty new ones. I have a meeting with our local museum today to take a picture of an old oak tree they want to use in a presentation. I have not seen it and really don't go out to shoot trees but oh well I will shoot anything for anybody as long as they pay me!

You are most welcome. Even if trees are not your favorite subject, I am sure you will do a fine job, and as you say, when you get paid for it, why not.

I wish we had such colourful birds in the UK. Having said that, green parrots have moved in from abroad and they are a menacing, eating all the fruit crops! Great shot of this character who has such a big black eye. Love the tuft on top of his head and his beautiful red colouration. Beautifully framed with spot on focus and nicely blurred background, the colour of which compliments those in the bird.

Thank you so very much! I shoot every day and have learned you must focus on the eye! That is the key, if the eye is in good focus the rest takes care of itself.
