This is really a well taken bird photo. I really like all the pink reflections in the water. It is a perfect background for the bird.
As always your photo is very sharp showing great details. The reflections in the foreground looks great and I also like the small ripples. The light is beautiful and this photo was for sure taken at the right time of the day when the light is so soft and pleasing. I also think the colors are nice and natural.
The pose of the bird is very nice, and I like that you managed to take a photo after the bird had caught a fish. The log in the water adds interest and balance the scene in a very nice way. I also think the DOFF is excellent.

This is really a well taken bird photo. I really like all the pink reflections in the water. It is a perfect background for the bird.

Nice timing. Loved this capture. Needed more light to the image, its bit underexposed in the background. You have a got a perfect composition with the help of wood log in the water. That's adding more value to the image. Overall a nice capture.

this photo is absolutely beautiful. I like the simplicity in the composition. Although it has two eye-drawing centers of attention, the heron clearly gets the primary focus. The clarity is very good. What makes this picture, however, is the beautiful lighting and colors which blend and reflect each other so nicely. Of course, it's pretty cool to get the fish in the beak! I'm sure was only a second or two later it was in his gullet! Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Well, it certainly looks like a painting. What a terrific catch (no pun intended). Great composition, and very cool with the fish in the beak. the background is very subtle and is a perfect backdrop. I like the log sitting there also. Couldn't have been planned or executed any better!
