This is so awesome. Hard to catch one with a fish in his beck. Colors are great. The whole scene is great. Great job.

Only you could get this amazing capture from an open car window. Fabulous shot. The fall colors reflecting in the water are amazing. Spectacular shot Willie. Wish I had a six to give you

A very nice capture here and he is a great fisherman. I like this and the angle you took it from. These birds can find fish anywhere and are super fishermen!

Great capture! Love the reflections in the water of not only the log and birds legs but the tree in the background. Adds tons of interest. Nice clarity and tones. Well done.

This is an excellent photograph, not only for its profound story and characterization, but also for its well constructed and interesting composition. Very well done and thank you for sharing.--Dr. Carlton

A good capture of the heron with a fish in its bill. A lower point of view and better light conditions would have improved such an image.

Willie, you cease to amaze me!
What a fantastic Shot. I did not know they ate big fish. You sure caught the Actions as well as a beautiful Nature Photograph. Sharpness and focus and your great skills
Really bring this one together. No pun intended but this one is a keeper! Thanks
Royal

Thank you so very much! This fish is not that big! I have seen them eat much larger fish than this! This picture is in a book collection. If you look you will see some with bigger fish than this!

Very nice, I like it! The focus is sharp and you can clearly see the details in the blue heron and the fish, the lighting is nice, not to dark, yet dark enough to make him stand out. The relflection of the trees is very pretty in the water giving that added drama here, the details of the log are outstanding. This is a great shot! Thank you for sharing
