Lovely image! What a beautifully clear shot. Cudos for your patience in waiting for this capture, well worth it. Great use of natural lighting, shows off his gorgeous coloring and expressive look. Not sure if it could have been cropped a little tighter off the left without compromising something else in this image. Good use of DOF. Great job!

I like the shot of just the head and the angle of this "portrait." Personally, I would crop a bit more on the left. I know it would put the head in the center, God forbid!, but he is so sweet, he deserves to be the complete center of attention.
