like how you did the dog, with the hairs fanning out from the center...many hairs..well done.
and how the nose and handle of the cup seemed to be pasted on..
like the varied colors of the yorkie, and speckled colors of the cup, the color of the backround, which enhances.
nice full fill of the frame..just right.

This ia adorable! I have a Yorkie, and love him to death. This a beautiful piece of art. The tea cup tidied in with a tea cup Yorkie is very creative. The back ground brings out the fetchers and the detail in the coloring of the little one's hair. The look in it's eyes draws me in. I feel the paws should be a little smaller to match the size of the dog. I understand Yorkies have long hair, but his paws are just a little to wide for a Tea Cup Yorkie. Other then that the piece is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

thank you shelly for the insight. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with this painting but I knew something seemed off, and you pegged it! thank you so much. Now at least I know where to fix this. I had a yorkie that passed away a long time ago and I thought of him when I did this painting but just couldn't get what was off.
