This is a very special picture.
Like how her wings make an umbrella above the flower, how there is the stamen about her, the way the colors look layered..green stem, red flower, yellow stamen, green bird, more stamen, and red tip on top..very neat.
lovely colors..hummingbird and flower.
your focus is good, and they're so hard to take pictures of.
nice composition.
and goo exposure.

Very beautiful Chickadee. Out of all the Hummingbirds I see on this site this is the first one that truly shows the transparency of their wings so well. Not allowed to give you a 6 or I would.

How do you capture such beautiful compositions. Are you a Disney character that all of the animals flock around. This is gorgeous. The color of the bird is so pretty. I like the point of view from which you took the picture. Once again a spectacular creation.

Now I know where your mind is at, Chickadee. A pretty female with a see through top. Well, I must say that I am impressed. She obviously is wearing a feather boa to tease the male viewers. She does seem to be oral fixated. She has a pretty tail end. And she likes to hum. Where can I get a male order bride, such as this lovely creature.

How on earth do you get a photo like that!!

Only not rated 100% full marks because the quick movement of the bird has caused the camera to capture an extra eye where there shouldnt be one, and i feel there's a better background for this image. Something that can really make it.. the eptiomy of awesome.

Otherwise, loving everything about this photograph. Even the reflective glow of the flower on the belly of the bird. wonderfully captured, fantastic work

I am amazed that you managed to photograph the hovering bird with hardly any blur on the wings. Lovely shot. I like the way you also managed to keep the background free of any distractions.
Well done.

If I had six stars, this would be getting them. The pink tones drew me in right away...particularly the reflection off the underside of the hummingbird. Even the translucent wing carries a lot of pink in it. The overall colors in this shot work beautifully together. To catch the beat of the wings in forward motion really aided in the composition with the horizontal plane of the hibiscus. The vertical stamen and bird's tail feathers give a nice break to that parallel. It's a beautiful photo.
