How excited you must have been to capture these diamonds on green velvet.
COMPOSITION
Your composition is very well done by keeping that white large drop over to the side and you included the beauty of the leaf as well for us to enjoy.
I think you have placed that leaf very nicely into the frame with some nice negative space around it which balances your image very well.
You have nice photographer's eyes to see diamonds everywhere like that and bringing them to us.
TECHNIQUE
I am having a bit of a problem with your technique in that that white drop of water in the center is gray and looks to me like glue...and the leaf is not tack sharp neither is that large white drop. You need to adjust your exposure and oftentimes it's a good idea to triple shoot, or bracket and the camera does that for you and you just have to pick the best shot. So because your focus is off a touch and your exposure is off a touch you have a deduction of points.
I do have to commend you on your choice to shoot in ambient light and the quality of light that you shot in , being soft and not harsh is excellent.
