I do my best work as abstract. Emotions, no matter how solid, are actually all abstract if you think about it. Using abstract, more people can relate to my work because they each see it as something different. And can relate a different emotion with it. thanx for the review. ;-)

Bodysecca, I can say with all my heart that you have captured ( at least a glimpse ) of the human brain in a state of confusion. I have experienced the DEMON of DEPRESSION in many forms, so for me this is a very real.
WELL DONE

Thank you so much. I am glad that you appreciate my work. Many don't.

This composition caught my eye by the transparenty effect. As a hole it works. It is good how you have manage to create a composition out of depression. However i feel as though the composition could have been reworked a bit more, perhaps try building up the layers more and adding in more tonal areas. It is a little pale in colour to veiw, maybe thats the photo shot?

Thank you. That piece is actually darker if you view it "in person" I guess you could say. The camera I had to take the pic with made it seem much lighter, I'll have to mess with it on my computer and see if I can darken it a bit to what it actually looks like. Thanks again

Odd subject matter - eyes and lips - but ironically it has a strange appeal. Your backround shapes, pointing down like icicles melting, strangely enough reminds me of a Dali painting where he had a clock dripping down the side of a table. Dripping to me is a good image of aging. Best wishes.

Thank you once again. I'm glad you like my work. Eyes and lips have always fascinated me. The eyes are the windows to the soul and can tell what the mouth cannot. A lot of my charcoal pieces have faces and eyes and such as the focus.
