Oh those sexy eyes!

COMPOSITION
Of course....fill the frame with that gorgeous hunk and take out all that is not important, you've done that ...perfectly. Instantly, we know the center of interst.

I don't know if I've told you this already but I admire photographic artists who leave their names small, tucked away at the bottom of the page instead of HUMUNGOUS NAMES sprawled across their images. Here your art speaks loud and your name will become known through your art.

OK ...onwards with the critique.

TECHNIQUE
He's tack sharp, the way he's supposed to look and he's looking at me (via your lens) which engages viewers. I once knew a chicken like this who kept chasing me whenever he saw me, it got so bad that the owners sliced off his head and we ate him for next days lunch.

You have captured the detail of this face so well and technically this image is very strong with great directional light falling on his face and eye. You have exposed the beauty of this chicken perfectly.

Your dof is perfect and the color harmony is lovely with that brownish tinged background so complimenting his feathering and comb.

Compositionally beautifully framed and cropped close enough but not too tightly and technically strong. You are giving the other contestants a run for their money in the Chicken contest.

Love this detail, you were able to capture the still image of this animal with nearly perfrect clarity and color, amazing...I can really apprecaite the close up detail and focus you achieved, great job!

This is one good image of this rooster. You have shown so much detail in that headpiece! and, the feathers the way they form his big coat. Nice color, lighting and clarity.

I would have given this a 6 if the shadow would have not been in the lower left. The colors, clarity,details, textures, and composition are excellent. The lighting is good all except those 2 shadows (lower left and right top. Good lick in the contest.
