How many of us have seen life from this angle. Magnificent. Great color contrasts. Very serene. Love it. Thanks for sharing. Great piece to enter into the flight contest.

There is a great feel of vastness and dynamism to your upload and the story comes through loud and clear, a borderless sky and an image that will do well in the In Flight photo contest.

COMPOSITION
Your composition of this image with inclusion of the wing tip gives a very good story. There is balance and lovely colour harmony and the balance here is symmetrical. The story here has a beginning, a middle and an end.

You put thought into this image post processing and it shows. I personally think that your use of gradient tool into the corners takes away from that vast feel and corners our eyes into what feels like binoculars. Instead of sweeping across your image as if we were in flight we get pushed, rather unwillingly, into the brightest part. This is my very subjective opinion, of course, and unlike other reviewers on this site I WILL NOT DOCK MARKS for your artistic vision, so I honor your artistry...it's a suggestion that's all.

TECHNICAL
Technically this image is strong. It is well exposed with no blow outs and with that sun shining brightly on that water it could have been blown out but thanks to your savvy handling of metering your skills paid off.

I also like the way you have kept the colours natural and the quality of light, that time of shooting works to your advantage. You do not have any distracting colour shifts no aberrations on lens or sensor, your image is clean and strong.

I find the interest element is also present with that wing tip making us feel like we are off to exotic lands far away....anxiously awaiting the treasures of another land and another culture.

Hope your trip was a joyful one. You deserve full marks for this lovely image that causes us to dream.

Thank you very much for your throughout and thoughtful review and your encouragement. I appreciate your input as well. I did not use a gradient tool. The only thing I did was a slight increase of color hues, because the colors seem to be dulled by the rain-wetness of the window. I think the effect you mean is a side effect of even this wetness. Some raindrops in the corner may have reflected at this angle.

Ahh I see. I stand corrected, but you do see that binocular effect too? Still it's a strong image.

Yes I see it. I did not realize it until your review. The picture just looked natural to me; but I was looking through that window as well as the camera. It may was in my eyes and in my unconcious memory.
