The blend of colors and tones in this autumnal piece are just divine. Great composition with the eye being led through the overhanging trees to the light beyond. Wonderful texture in the fallen leaves too.

The initial impact of this picture is good with the path leading you through the image, I like the presentation,the colour harmony is beautiful the the reds yellow and gold's work well together, the centre of interest for me is tracks on the path leading to the tunnel effect at the rear of the image. The technique looks like stippling,especially the leaves at either each side of the path, the story the picture is telling me is one of a beautiful day in autumn.

I guess I must be a big fan because I always love your work. This is a simple palette, which I appreciate. The strokes, the composition, is also somewhat strong and simple on first view but then looking at the road more deeply, at the sides of the road, at the far outside ground, the details emerge. I would walk down this road and find peace.

I think it might be impossible not to notice this piece. No matter what situation a person is in, if this piece is within eyeshot they will notice it and remember it. The way the light seems to drench the forest gives this piece a magical feel. An autumn paradise.
