Interesting to see an old grape crusher, and like how the winery has honored its history by giving it a special place..framed by brick walls, and up on a small pedestal.
Like how it's painted blue.
nice perspective, good exposure and clarity, good crop.

Great story follow this very nice image. Educational for us city boys who always though the way we made wine was crushing the grapes with feet. I should get out more. Well framed and well lit this is an excellent photo for sharing.

Good shot with nice colour. I like that pale blue against the warm toned bricks. You've got good focus and light in this, and an interesting piece of machinery.

Very good presentation with natural framing of the brick. Being in set in the wall sure help[s with the presentation. Very nice angle and lighting on it. My wife like the Yellow Tail wine from Australia.

Thanks so much Bob, we are fortunate in SA there are so many wineries which produce beautiful wines. Enjoyed a bottle of Yellow Tail Sav Blanc the other night :) Mary

Clare Valley that rings a bell in my brain. I seem to remember that a lot of Australian wines come from here? Your photo has a good composition giving us a good look at the scene. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed. Very good photo, well done!

Thanks so much for your review, lots of very nice wines particularly known for there Reisling and Shiraz. About 44 wineries in that area, I definitely enjoy living in a wine producing state :)

i have not seen grape crusher, but thank you so much for this, good snap ,why did you focus from the side ,instead of straight, you could have captured some more of the wall nearby.

Thanks so much, there was other things in the way of the straight on shot so had to take on angle to enable clear view of the crusher :) Mary

Well there goes my theory of the old foot stumping way. Good composition, focus and crisp detail. Good artist notes. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sam, not sure they ever used the foot stumping way in Australia but think it would be good fun :)
