Great nature shot wille, verey nicely composed and framed...how much food did you give your bird to pose for you like this?. The splash of red on the bird's breast really puts this shot out of the ordinary. Great crisp focus and contast with the background. Hope he visits you again. Well done.

Really good details on the feathers in the breast area. I like the crispness of the colors and the green background really brings the bird to the forefront of the photo, the image.

This is quite lovely! The composition is nice, as well as the colors (you have to love the green background coupled with that bright crimson breast!). The lighting is beautiful as well. I would love to see this with out the grainy-factor. Great photo, thanks for sharing!

Very pretty shot! Beautiful detail on the feathers and I love how you have caught him with the seed in his beak! He looks like he is looking right at you! Nice choice of background color as well, it sets off his colors perfectly! Great job. What distance were you away from him? Were you using the full 300mm?

Wish I had more stars to give. If you want a closeup of a bird this is it, such great detail from the eye to the fine feathers. love the seed being cracked in the beak and your background sets him of well. Great shot.
