Spring is definitely in the air, and it would be so relaxing to grab one of those canoes and slip across a glass lake.
Your use of B&W is great, especially since the spring forest colors are usually bland, and canoes are also.
The arrangement give one pause for thought.

Excellent choice of monochrome black and white. You have taken an ordinary simple scene and created a photograph full of story line and possibilities. These canoes seem to be begging for a ride on the lake... "Take me." "No, take me." "Don't leave me out."

Your point of view is absolutely magnificent... getting on the ground as you must have done provides a whole new perspective.

Your photographic eye, creativity, and execution all combine in this gallery quality photo.

Very nicely done and I really like the black and white. Great POV and cropping. Your background really looks nice, but I think I would play with the contrast a little. I really like to visit that Island. I have been there many times.

Excellent choice of subject matter, not only unique but haphazardly arranged as well. I like the way there seem to be 3 bars of texture here, first the grass in the foreground, then the canoes, and last the trees in the background. It strikes me as a landscape flag my friend. Cyn
