Your painting of flowers is really lovely. The only thing that spoils it for me is your presentation. I think it would be much better presented on its own without all the surrounding distractions. You need to photograph your work against a blank wall or totally fill the photo with the picture and nothing else.

My dear I would suggest cropping this right now to enter the contest as you can tell you will lose stars with this type of cropping! The art work is beautiful and colorful with attention to details! My dear I would suggest cropping this right now to enter the contest as you can tell you will lose stars with this type of cropping! The art work is beautiful and colorful with attention to details! Tough group you are dealing with and just trying to help you out! Best of luck!

Well I have a mac computer so not sure if I can help.Go under photo's and should have a tool for cropping. Here goes, first off go back to your computer and find the tool that would crop the image for you. Normally looks like a square. If you can download your images this should be no problem! Another thing, if you could get a straight on shot of the painting would be much more effective as well. Lean it up against something and try that. Second you can go back to the site re-submit and edit your image. I hope this helps and I think you would get many more review for this work that way! It is a lovely painting and should be displayed better. Felt really terrible for the critique you received for this work! Too bad people judge the surroundings and not the initial work of art! A real pity and makes me think that is quite shallow of them! Hope you have a great weekend and happy editing Regine_Anne!

since you have made it so clear of my faults i had to come look at the master..flowers...man im disappointed..i thought you were going to show me something, other than flowers.. oh well ill give the 4 stars because you can shade and blend color ill give you that, but doing flowers is like art101..basic simple everyone does that when they think they wanna be an artist...sorry i like to stand out than run the pack. i just cant see the creativity in this other than copying from some model you have set up. overall average job, however ill be looking forward towards your future work. have a great day!@

In my opinion there are two distinct areas for review on this image. The first is the subject matter and its entry into the contest. I love the flowers and the composition, and it is only my opinion but I believe that the contest requires the entry to have a predominance of the colour green which this does not. Secondarily, the presentation isn't very professional. The photo should be cropped so only the image is evident and the background is removed. Good luck in the contest my friend. Cyn
