There seems to be alot of texture in this painting..I was so surprised to see it listed as digital!
I don't know anything about digital except that the artist on FAR keep astounding me with what they can do with digital art..its amazing.
I really like what you have created here...not only the texture, but the sharp contrast of the light against the dark..nice job!
Excellent author's notes as well.

Thank you very much Jenny, I appreciate your review. My digital painting is very much done like traditional painting, just that I use a pad to move the tools on the digital canvas. The texture is there because my program [ArtRage] allows me to chose the canvas or paper type. I think one need experience in traditional painting, to do this kind of digital painting.

Very well done. The shades and the depth you have created within the constraints of the colors. The clouds and the grass evident and the feeling of space is there. Our hero Bright and his sidekick apparent but not the center to this story and of course the wonderful windmill. The opponent to our hero.
It is quite detailed and very beautiful.

This is an interesting composition. The black and white finish of the boats makes it interesting viewing. Fine composition, the contrasts and the theme makes this very viewable!

Thank you for your kind review. It dos not only looks like a traditional painting, it is done similar starting out with a blank canvas. Just that the tools are moved on a pad. I kind of finger painting perhaps. I guess one need experience in traditional painting to use the program.

I like it. It looks sort of like a photo negative. Also the two men look like ghost beings. The fwhole thing has this ghostly feel to it.

I like this because it's so different. I think it's worked really well. How great that you've included FAR's Donkeyoatey in your work lol! Good luck in the contest.

This was a favourite story of mine, I even liked the film musical and this conjures up the whole essence of the story with the hero tilting at windmills with his long suffering servant. Works really well on the black background with chalk/crayon effects. Brilliant work.

This is one of my all time favorite stories/plays.
I like your rendition of it...particularly Don Quixote himself (sanchos is ok).
I like the windmill and the moon in the background. Nice work
