We don't have these trees in Norway. A pity since the flowers are so lovely. All the blossoms in this photo are standing out so nicely against the black background. You have however left out quite a few spots and I would suggest that you go over the image and cover up the faults.

The focus is nice and sharp showing very fine details in the petals and the centers of the flowers. I also think the exposure is pretty perfect. The pink color is truly lovely and as far as I know also very natural.

I don't know if it is the end of the branch we see on the left side, but if it is you should have tried to add a bit more negative space. Still not too late. I very often add a thick black frame to add more negative space, and then crop the other three sides after. I think this is a very nice photo but the background needs to be worked at.

This is a nice bunch of dogwood flowers. I am used to seeing the white flowers. I like the black background. It makes the flower stand out. Good composition, focus and detail. Good informative notes. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Sam

this is a good shot with so many information to learn this called dog tree and than the fruits will open into dogberries first the flower and than the fruit how beautiful gods nature is interesting technical excellence and good background too, well done table.

I never get tired of seeing dogwood blossoms and this is no exception. Dogwood blossomed in March this year in Michigan and soon after we had several hard frost and freezing spells.
