Great find. I like how you angled this, it works as a leading line. You captured the texture of the wood nicely. Beautiful colors and lighting.

Great composition and excellent exposure. I like the line of the fence and the foreground and background greenery. The piece of road and the yellow signs detract, adding too many elements to this otherwise fine photo.

Very interesting fence but it sure a great way to use as an entrance for the winery. Very nice DOF and great setting on the camera to get this one. What does the traffic signs in the basckground mean?

Thanks very much, the sign is to say Give Way coming up at next intersection. Don't see it too often but used more so on country roads where the intersection may be a little obscured.

Never seen a fence like this before! Its amazing!! Your photo has a good composition giving us a good look at the scene. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed. Very good photo, well done!

Mary Elizabeth, an interresting photo, but I would have been inclined to take the shot on the other side of the rails. The road and traffic signs are a distraction from your subject. Taking the photo from closer to ground level mayt have also had a greater dramatic impact. But, on the plus side, good camera work, crisp focus, good exposure and good DOF. Hope this is not being super critical.

Thanks Terry, tried various angles but this was the only one which really showed the size of the posts and rails. No you are not being super critical :) :)

Mary Liz This is a very cool photo!!
Someone was clearly saying, "What are we going to do with all this wood we cut down!! But it couldn't have been easy to make.
Good balance in the photo. I like the diagonal presentation so that you can get more of the fence into the photo.
