A great capture of this handsome bird. The curve of the branch, the fact that he was shot from behind and the side are great points of interest for me. I like the halo effect around the bird. Very nicely done.

I really like this shot! You have shown him at the perfect angle, giving us a good look at those beautiful blue wing and tail feathers. I also like how the background seems to cast an aura about him. Great detail and colors as well. Very nicely done!

What a beautiful shot you have here! The bird is positioned well in the frame and has excellent details and colors. The dof makes the pic! Having the background blurred allows the bird to be the star of the shot. Good luck in the contest! :) Joan
