The attempt is very good. Framing is also not bad but you should try other compositions by increasing shutter speed, allowing less light. This may have changed the shades of colors out there. Had you snapped it after few more minutes, the sun would have gone further down offering a pleasing sight and creating perfect silhouettes.

I agree with your comments in the Artist notes that even though the colours may not be as vibrant as other sunset shots, you have captured a great moment with the sun positioned right between the posts. I think it is wonderful and deserves credit. Cropping has achieved an optimum effect and the shot is well presented over all.

Outstanding work here. The placement of the sun between the pilings is genius. It's like the row of pilings are guiding the light onto the shore. Sensational reflections of light in the surf that trail right on to the wet sand. Beautifully composed!

This is a beautiful capture of a sunset with golden water glare. I like it and the poles stand so majestic. I am glad that you didn't touch it up much. You captured the beauty of nature.

This is very nice, I really like how the sun and reflection is between the two poles. I think the colors are pretty, even though they are not extremely bright, sometimes less is better. Composed nicely, good focus and good depth.
