Chippy is as cute as he can be! Are your sunflowers blooming already? Mine are still growing upward! Great shot of the bird in the midst of the sunflowers. Nice clarity and focus. How interesting that they line their nests with horse hair. I had no idea. Very nice shot! Thanks for your notes.

Thank you so very much! These sunflowers are from the seed the birds missed. The sprouted early in the year and they have been in bloom about two weeks.

Excellent lighting, perfect clarity and composition and the yellow of the sunflowers just pop right off the page. The natural lighting simply highlights and accentuates the overall image. Good clarity and intense colors. I would have perhaps taken out the light greenish area above the leaf as the eye draws to that instantly, if it were removed I believe, ones eye would go more to the subject. Still a beautiful picture.
